[image] Asus F52Q problem
Every time I turn on the notebook, it says "Auto-detecting AHCI PORT 0..Not Detected". After it passes BIOS, I get "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key." At this moment I press Ctrl + Alt + Del and the notebook restarts. Then Bios detects the HDD and everything works as it should: "Auto-detecting AHCI PORT 0..SATA Hard Disk". There is only one version of Bios, the first release, 206. I flashed Bios with 206 hoping it might do something. It didn't. I can't set the HDD to IDE from Bios because it doesn't have the option. The HDD is the first on the boot priority list. Lan boot is disabled. This notebook has this problem from the first day it was bought. It's not mine.
